Dalton Risner With the Stiff Arm.....
Dalton Risner is a 3-year captain and senior at Kansas State Wildcats. Earlier today K-State defeated Texas Tech 21-6 at home on a senior night. Dalton has been instrumental in the success of the team and even electing to forego the 2017 NFL draft ) rated as 2nd best pass blocking lineman in college) to play his senior year. On a trick play in the end zone K-State QB Skylar Thompson rolled to the left, gave a quick look to the flats then threw the back to an open Dalton Risner who ran it in for an 8 yard TD. Dalton was line up as the right tackle on the play and unfortunately, it was called back for a penalty ( ineligible player touching the ball). Regardless of the outcome of the play, fans were overjoyed for their beloved senior and he was able to celebrate with them after the game. I played WR and CB ( mainly CB) in high school so I was a skills position, but the O-line and D-line are the backbones of their side of the ball. It would be nice to see them rewarded more for all they do. From here I predict Dalton to be drafted within the first round of the 2019 NFL draft. Let me know your thoughts and comment below.
