NBA DraftKings Tips for 11/19/18
For today’s DraftKings tips, I have a few players that I believe are must plays. Today’s 9 game slate is led with some star power with Anthony Davis ($11,600) and Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,300) leading the charge. I do not believe these guys are must picks though. Today I will be entering into 4 games, the $10 Big Jam, that gives out $100k to 1st, the Pick and Roll $12 single entry game, and 2 double-up $5 and $10 games. If you are interested in a more “cash-game” type approach, this article will hopefully give you some insight on who to pick.
Instead of picking some of the top dogs, I have decided to go with 4 guys who are priced over $7,000. Devin Booker is my favorite pick tonight vs PHI. At $7,700 he is very affordable, and has the potential to drop major points (maybe 70…his career high). Philadelphia ranks 21st in points allowed. Booker also has been dishing out 7 assists a game, which is rare among “score-first” guard. His PG/SG label allows you to be flexible with his positioning in your lineup.
Tobias Harris at $7,800 is also a solid pick tonight. The SF/PF offers great scoring upside, and he is playing the worst defense (maybe team) in the league Atlanta. Alex Len is banged up and John Collins is on a minute’s restriction after coming off an injury, so rebounds could be plenty for Harris who has 4 double-doubles this year. Danilo Gallinari is also a good value at $6,200 as he scores in bunches.
Steven Adams would be my third guy here. Adams hasn’t scored less than 35 DK points since November 5th and with Westbrook possibly being out, he adds some solid scoring value. His game has improved, and is a defensive specialist averaging 2 steals a game and 1 block a game. The Kings are average at best in the frontcourt, and their opponents shoot 47% against them.
My sneaky plays of the day are Tyreke Evans $4,100, Monte Morris $4,100, and Bogdan Bogdanovic $4,000. Evans is starting for Victor Oladipo tonight, and even though they are playing Utah, I still like his usage tonight, as the Pacers need someone to look to. Myles Turner at $4,700 is interesting, but is too inconsistent for me to pick him tonight. Monte Morris is a Point Guard that nobody knows, but will soon. He is a very explosive player who plays with tenacity every night. Morris dished out 10 assists against the Bucks the last tie, look for him to contribute heavily again as he has averaged 29 minutes in the past 5 games. Bogdan Bogdanovic is my last sleeper. The guy can flat out score, and once he gets heavier minutes, he will score at least 15 points a game. He dropped 22 on San Antonio the other night, and I just need him to get 25 DK points or so tonight.
Also…pick Gordon Hayward vs CHA tonight. He is $5,900 and…I smell a triple-double coming tonight. He’s getting more run recently, and is honestly a star. His price is too cheap to pass up.
Today was pretty tough for me, I ended up paying for Ben Simmons at $8,900 as well, I just think against the Suns, he will be unstoppable. Not going to lie though, it was tough to pick the higher priced guys. Anyways, let’s win some money!!
