There was a report yesterday that Bradley Beal was inquired about by the Charlotte Hornets, after the Wizards announced that they were willing to trade anyone on their roster, including John Wall. Right now, it is just speculation that this will even happen, but the fact that the Hornets are interested in trading for better talent is a welcoming sight. On Monday night, the Hornets claimed their biggest win of the season against the Boston Celtics. All-Star PG Kemba Walker is virtually unstoppable right now. He scored 43 in the winning effort, just a couple days after scoring 60 against the 76ers.

Bradley Beal would fit right into the Hornets lineup, because the Hornets desperately need another consistent scoring option to aid Kemba Walker. Beal is only 25 years old and is currently in his 7th NBA season. Over the past 3 years, including the current season, Beal has averaged 22.8 points per game, while shooting 46.9% from the field and 38.4% from 3. While I would argue that the Hornets could use another big man, they have played well with a smaller lineup. Beal could be just what the Hornets need moving forward.
