Tonight’s NBA action features 7 games and this makes for a great day to play daily fantasy sports! My lineup tonight consists of some solid on-ball defenders and elite scorers. The Sports Chief’s hometown Charlotte Hornets face off against the powerful offense of the Milwaukee Bucks, and I have one player in mind for this game. I think your ideal lineup should be constructed of solid (lower budget) players tonight, not the big-time players like Anthony Davis ($11,200) or Kevin Durant ($10,900)

My favorites tonight will be playing at the United Center in Chicago tonight. No…not for the Bulls, but the Spurs. Demar DeRozan at $8,600 and LaMarcus Aldridge at $8,100 are awesome values. The Bulls are 23rd in points allowed this year, and are a team centered around building their young talent of LaVine and Jabari Parker. I think both Spurs will get 40 plus DK points tonight.

I am going with a trio of Timberwolves tonight against the lowly Cavaliers. Andrew Wiggins ($5,800) and Robert Covington ($5,900) shot 1 for 30 combined their last game, and I fully believe they will come out with something to prove. Jeff Teague is my other player form Minnesota at $6,100. Wiggins is more of a solid scorer, but Teague and Covington offer more categorical upside, as Covington averages 2 steals and blocks a game. Teague is a proven ball-handler who I predict will get over 10 assists tonight.

Myles Turner is coming back tonight and will be catching the Utah Jazz on a back-to-back. Turner is a great shot blocker and is facing a Jazz defense that ranks 24th against opposing Centers in terms of DK points. With Oladipo still out, Turner could see an increase in scoring opportunities and at $5,100…that is a steal.

Nicolas Batum at $4,900 is my Hornets pick tonight. His Guard/Forward label allows you to be flexible when entering him into your lineups. This was totally a gut pick, I just feel like he matches up well against the Bucks in that he is similar to the Greek Freak…he shoots, passes, defends, and rebounds well. Maybe the Hornets incorporate him more tonight in their game-plan and hopefully it is a fast-paced game. I really like Khris Middleton ($7,600) tonight as well, but left him off tonight. He averaged 30.5 PPG in 4 games against CHA last year.
