NBA DraftKings Tips for 12/19/18

Well folks here we are again, giving away free DraftKings tips here at The Sports Chief. On Monday, we did win some cash in our double-ups, we look to continue that trend tonight during the large 12 game slate. Lately, I have been selecting a lot of the same players every once in a while, and riding the hot hand. 

My anchor tonight will be Karl Anthony-Towns at $9,700. I love picking bigs against Andre Drummond and for good reason…Drummond is known to be one of the worst defensive big men in the game. I debated going Joel Embiid at $10,200 and/or Ben Simmons $8,800, but I think the 76ers could go up early versus the Knicks, leaving their value depleted. Derrick Rose at $6,700 is a steal to pair with Towns. He has been shooting 48% from 3-point range this year, and dished out 11 assists last game…and with Jeff Teague out, this increases his run.

Lauri Markkanen has been a name I automatically click each night. With Jabari Parker out of the lineup, Markkanen gets plenty of court time…not to mention he averages a steal and a block a game. Brooklyn is on the back end of a back-to-back and at $7,400, I will still pick him at this value. 

Sacramento has an immense amount of injuries right now, Bagley, Shumpert, and Bogdanovic are all out and I look for Buddy Hield to go off tonight. If I can pay $6,200 for a 30-point scorer…I will do it all day. Nemanja Bjelica at $4,800 is also a good value. Despite him only playing 5 minutes last game, I cannot see the Thunder stopping him. Plus…all he needs to do is get me 25 or so DK points for a win.

Mo Bamba will be highly owned tonight. Vucevic is out and Bamba is priced at $3,700. He is a shot-blocking machine, and even if he is playing against the Spurs, I look for him to surpass his EV. I predict 75% ownership in double-ups. Aaron Gordon will be counted upon for offense in this game. His price is $6,900 and I will go with him. 

Anthony Davis will be highly owned, but I will fade him and go with E’Twaun Moore at $4,600. He plays 30 minutes a game, and I think he can contribute with Julius Randle and Nikola Mirotic being ruled out. Moore is shooting 51% on the year, and If he gets 15 shots up (like he is averaging his last 10 games) you do the math. 

Hopefully, The Sports Chief is in a groove and continues to win. We haven’t lost since Sunday…that includes NFL. Remember when making a DFS lineup, pick the price…not necessarily the player. This is the case for sports gambling as well. The Chicago Bulls are a home underdog tonight, pick them in your NBA matchups. Again…the Nets are on a back-to-back and I love picking these matchups.
