NFL DraftKings Tips for Week 16

There will be 12 games involved in the main slate of games for Sunday on DraftKings this week. Last week, our lineup was victorious in a double-up despite it being a weird week for fantasy owners. We had Tevin Coleman with 23.5 DK points and Joe Mixon with 30 DK points. The Sports Chief has cooked up a lineup this week, that is more of a GPP entry, so we will be going for the $1 Million-dollar prize in the Mini-Millionaire game, which is a $15 entry.

Running backs are a premium for Sunday. I am stacking Ezekiel Elliott at $9,000 and our hometown Panther Christian McCaffrey ($8,800). Dallas is playing for the NFC East title and will be relying heavily on Zeke. Tampa also gave up 242 rushing yards to Baltimore last week. The Panthers on the other hand get the Falcons defense who rank last against opposing Running Backs in DK points scored.

At the Wide Receiver position, I have a few great options. Amari Cooper at $7,500 against a terrible Tampa Bay defense will at least get a touchdown. Tampa ranks 25th against Wide Receivers in total yards, and 31st in TD’s allowed. Demaryius Thomas is going up against the Philadelphia Eagles this week, who have 3 CB’s either in IR or out for the game. DeAndre Hopkins is going to play, but is “gimpy” and at $4,700, Thomas is a bargain. Robby Anderson has posted 17.6 and 22.6 points respectively the last two weeks, and I am convinced he is a solid play this week. For $4,500 I will go Anderson against an under-performing Packers team.

My $4,000 and under picks are going to be Taylor Heinicke at $4,000 and David Njoku at $3,800. Cam Newton has looked terrible with his shoulder injury, and Heinicke is a great replacement. He was a stud in College, including one year getting 55 total touchdowns. The Falcons aren’t the greatest defense anyway, and I think Heinicke could absolutely meet his EV at that price. I highly suggest picking him. Njoku and Baker Mayfield have a solid repertoire and I believe they can light it up against the Bengals. Again…I am just looking for a touchdown from him.

Good luck to everyone playing DFS this week, and I hope this advice helps you construct a great lineup. Thanks to Yacs for writing the Friday NBA DFS article. Stay tuned for my NBA Christmas article.
