Last week was a tough one for The Sports Chief, we won once with our lineups. Have no fear, as this was only a glitch in our winning ways this year! Today, I am going to do things a little different, by focusing on the 5 positions, I hope to dissect your best DFS options for tonight’s 7 game slate.

Point Guard

Tim Frazier is starting for the fast-paced New Orleans Pelicans tonight against the LA Clippers. His price tag of $4,700 leaves you salivating at his possible output tonight. Not only will he reach his EV tonight, he will get a double-double tonight. The insane 236.5 over/under will tempt people to go heavy on both teams, and I think you should consider it as well. Lou Williams will also be an option for me, he is priced relatively low at $4,900 and could surpass Shai Gilgeous-Alexander in minutes tonight, as his ability to score could keep the Clippers close.

Shooting Guard

Bradley Beal and Tim Hardaway Jr are my two favorite SG’s. Beal at $7,900, can provide ample scoring, and against the Knicks…he could drop 40. He did not hit a single 3-point shot last game out, but look for him to light up the Garden tonight. Hardaway is priced at $6,900 and for a guy averaging nearly 34 DK points a game, I cannot pass this up. Washington has given up an average of 117.1 points a game, and this game also has a high over/under at 229.

Small Forward

Danilo Gallinari has been averaging 39.45 DK points in his last 5 games, and is playing against the Pelicans, at $6,600 his value is immense. The former Italian protégé will light it up in NOLA. Alec Burks is my other pick at this position, the Cavs aren’t going for a title, but Burks brings experience to a young Cavs squad, therefore he will get some minutes. He is a three-category player with HUGE defensive upside. Burks should touch 30 DK points against the Brooklyn Nets.

Power Forward

Kawhi Leonard looks like he is fitting in just fine with the 1stplace Raptors. He hasn’t gotten under 40 DK points since 11/20 and Juancho Hernangomez is going to be assigned to him tonight. The Nuggets are a solid team, and Leonard will have to bring it in order for the Raptors to win. You’ll need to work around your budget, since he is $9,700, but I highly recommend picking him. Anthony Davis seems like an automatic choice too, but his $11,500 will keep him off of my lineup.

Center

John Collins is one of my favorite options every night. He is a solid NBA player, and on the Hawks, he is one of the better choices. Paying $5,300 for a guy who scores 15 points a game and 7 rebounds, go with him if you choose a star like Leonard or Davis. Nikola Jokic is $8,200 and this could be a sneaky high-end choice. Toronto has one of the worst defending center in Jonas Valanciunas and Jokic is the center of the Nuggets offense.
