NBA DraftKings Tips for 1/14/19

Good evening everyone, welcome to The Sports Chief, the site that provides you free DraftKings tips as well as other cool things. If you’d like to win $100K tonight, heed this advice. I am excited with my lineup tonight, and I will be entering into the nearly impossible to win…$10 entry for DK’s Monday Night Throwdown. 

The Boston Celtics will be squaring off against the Brooklyn Nets without their star Kyrie Irving. With that being said…let’s do what 60% of the people will do and select Terry Rozier at $3,700. Normally I would tell you not to do this, but for a sub $4k price…you kind of have to. He will at least meet his EV and that’s hard to pass up. I also like Gordon Hayward at $5,300. This seems to be a game where scoring will need to come from the bench, and Hayward should have an easy time against the Nets.

Utah is still without the Spanish sensation Ricky Rubio, so Donovan Mitchell is expected to fill the void. He has surpassed 50 DK points the last three games, and he should do it again, which makes him valuable at $9,200. Reggie Jackson is not exactly a threat to stop him. I have been riding the Joe Ingles train since Rubio’s injury, and I am going to keep doing it. He is a near guarantee to get 30+ points, and he is at $6,100. 

My sleeper pick that (I hope) wins me the $100K prize is Davis Bertans at $3,900. I was down to him or Patty Mills at $3,700…but I went with the Latvian sharpshooter. Rudy Gay and Marco Belinelli is out and this was my sole reasoning for choosing Bertans. If Bertans can get me some three’s and a few rebounds…a block and/or steal…I got this.
