NBA DraftKings Tips for 1/28/19
Good afternoon! The Sports Chief is back for DFS advice, and working hard to get you some dough in your wallet. Tonight, there will only be 5 games, but I am ready to go for a single-entry tourney victory tonight. Some of my guys are probably chalk tonight, but they need to be in there. The thing about these small slates are that you have to hit on the right guys, or you have no chance. Pressure is at an all-time high for me, as I have not been winning like at the beginning of the year, but I feel confident tonight.
My anchor will be John Collins ($8,200) v. LAC. This matchup has the highest over/under of the night at 232.5, and I am willing to bet it will be highly stacked. Collins is a consistent player who shoots three’s and rebounds well at 10.2 per game. The Clippers don’t matchup that well against him specifically, as I suspect the guards for the Hawks to be shut down with Beverley and Bradley manning the positions for LA. I will also be going with Tobias Harris ($8,000) for the Clips…Atlanta has the worst defense in basketball, and Harris may drop 30+ tonight. Plus…I just love having a great scorer going into the last game of the night.
Noah Vonleh had an amazing game against BKN scoring 49.75 DK points, and I believe he can do it again v. CHA. His price is $6,200 and I firmly see 15 rebounds tonight. Kemba loves to shoot it, and so does Jeremy Lamb. Both guys shoot under 45% and that will not change tonight. Trey Burke at $4,200 will be chalky, but I still have him here. Mudiay is out for NY and Burke is too good of a scorer to skip out on at this low price.
Gary Harris is valued at $5,800 against MEM and with Murray missing tonight’s game, I think Harris will pick up some of the scoring slack. Monte Morris will be highly picked at $4,600 and Will Barton is at $6,900, which to me is too high. I am hoping Gary is the sleeper and gets 35 DK points at least.
Alright, that’s it for tonight’s slate. Maybe this info can help guide you towards a win tonight. I know we are looking forward to NBA action tonight…being from Charlotte, maybe Kemba drops 50 tonight, but we shall see. Good luck Sports Chiefers!
