Song of the Day: Slide

Way later in the day than usual to release our song of the day, but it’s better late than never. Today’s song of the day is “Slide” from the Goo Goo Dolls. The band makes such good music, but has one of the dumbest names. But at the end of the day the music is all that matters. This song is from the album Dizzy Up the Girl, released in 1998, and went on to enjoy great success. The album also has Goo Goo Doll classics such as “Iris” and “Black Balloon.” So enjoy the rest of your Wednesday afternoon and stay cool if you’re in this eastern U.S. autumn heatwave.
