NASCAR First Data 500 DFS Preview
The Round of 8 starts off at Martinsville Speedway for the First Data 500. Martinsville is a 0.526 mile short-track situated in a valley in Ridgeway, Virginia. I have attended a race here and it is a racing history buffs dream! Built in 1947, it is the longest operating track on the Monster Energy Cup Series circuit. Next year they will be racing under the lights and I hope to see that great event! If you ever stop by there…be sure to try their famous Martinsville hot dogs. Back to racing…Kyle Busch is the favorite to win at a crazy +220. Denny Hamlin would be my choice at +430…but don’t count Joey Logano out at 10/1. (odds are from FanDuel) The winner of the First Data 500 will be punching their ticket to the “Final Four”…wait…can I say that for NASCAR? Not only will they be locked in to the championship finale at Homestead-Miami…they will also win a grandfather clock! Martinsville is a pretty sweet track and I hope I can tame it for a big DFS day here at The Sports Chief. Best of luck to everyone!
