Song of the Day: Sun Comin' Up

Happy Friday to everyone out there! Today’s song of the day will be an old country song that I happened to hear on Willie’s Roadhouse SiriusXM. Nat Stuckey is the artist of “Sun Comin'’ Up” and the single was co-produced by Conway Twitty. If you check out his wikipedia page, Nat Stuckey had a pretty interesting music career. Along with the featured song being featured at #13 on the US Country charts…he was the voice on some McDonalds, Coca-Cola, and Budweiser commercial jingles in the 70’s and 80’s. He also co-wrote Randy Travis’ hit “Diggin’ Up Bones”. Nat Stuckey has a similar sound to Waylon Jennings and early Hank Williams Jr. for sure. The 70’s contained some awesome country music…it seemed so genuine. I hope the sun comes up for you this morning and you have a wonderful Friday!
