Song of the Day: Peace On Earth/Little Drummer Boy

One of the best Christmas collaborations of all time, Bing Crosby and David Bowie got together in 1977 to perform this classic for Crosby’s Christmas television special Bing Crosby’s Merrie Olde Christmas. It was later released as a single on Bowie’s Single’s Collection album in 1982. It reached huge success and became a Christmas classic. It’s an unlikely duo, but that’s part of what makes it so great. Two singers with two totally different styles, from two different eras, producing great music. Nothing can bridge gaps like music.
