Song of the Day: Cigarette Daydreams

Cigarette Daydreams by Cage The Elephant. On Monday night I was lucky enough to go see Cage The Elephant at the Fillmore in Charlotte. It was night 1 of 106.5’s 3-day Festivus concert series and it was easily the biggest act. It was actually really cool to see them in such a small setting, the Fillmore’s capacity is 2k and it was obviously sold out, considering they just finished their tour across the US where they played at arenas and stadiums. It was the first time that I’ve seen Cage The Elephant live and hopefully not the last. Great band and Matt Shulz, the lead singer, puts on a show for the entire 1.5-2 hrs they played. Would highly recommend going to a Cage The Elephant show if your’re a fan or even a fan of rock.
