NBA DraftKings Tips 3/25/19
The NBA season is coming to an end and the games are as crucial as ever. Teams are vying for playoff positioning and trying to win every possession. There are only 4 games tonight, so the choices are limited, but the upside is great for a cash game strategy.
Point Guard:
Damian Lillard ($9,900):
Lillard will be going up against the Brooklyn Nets and the matchup is a solid one. CJ McCollum looks to be out once again, and Lillard will be the primary offensive option. The Brooklyn Nets are trying to stay in the playoffs and the Trail Blazers are playing for a higher seed in the Western Conference. Lillard has scored 50+ DK points in his last 4 and I expect that to continue.
Shooting Guard:
Delon Wright ($5,300):
One of my bargain choices of the night will be the Grizzlies 2 guard. Wright has produced pretty well with Mike Conley being out. He has back-to-back 30+ DK point games. OKC gives up a lot of points and Wright is a decent scorer. Not to mention he is a solid defender, he’ll get a steal or two for sure.
Small Forward:
Paul George ($9,600):
There is no contemplating this pick. Paul George will be having a field day versus the weak Grizzlies squad. The Thunder are fighting for a higher seed in the playoffs. I cannot see Justin Holliday and Bruno Cabolco stopping George. With an average of 51 DK points a game, the value at $9,600 is great.
Power Forward:
Jonathan Isaac ($5,100):
This one was a tough one. Since I spent on Lillard and George, I had to find value at the 4 spot. Isaac has gotten 29 and 34 DK points respectively in his last two outings, and the Magic are fighting for their post-season life. My strategy for this is that I get a defensive specialist who could get me 25+ points.
Center:
Steven Adams ($5,300):
I have stated that this game is important for the Thunder, and Adams will be playing the poor defensive frontcourt of Memphis. Valunciunas is bad defensively and is an offensive minded player. Look for Adams to force Jonas to turn the ball over some, and maybe get me 30 points.
