Song of the Day: Don't Think Twice, It's All Right
After I finished writing blog I realized that somebody’s already posted this song for song of the day, and to tell you the truth it could have been but I don’t remember. But at the same time it’s a really good song that’s worthy of a second post and I’m too lazy to find another song, so here you go, plus you get a cover at the end too.
The seventh song on the second studio album, The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan, by the undisputed, greatest songwriter that ever lived. Originally released in May of 1963, The Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan is considered one of the best albums of all time despite only peaking at number 22 on the US charts. It peaked at number 1 in the UK though, I assume they were a lot bigger fans of folk music at the time. The album was one of the first 50 albums chosen by the Library of Congress to be added to the National Recording Registry in 2002. If you like folk music, it’s pretty hard not this like this song.
Also how about Post Malone performing a cover of this song. obviously before his rapping and tattoo’s on the face days. Kind of a shame that Post chose that route because he seems to be a very good musician from some of the song covers I’ve seen, but he’s doing just fine money-wise in the rap game so I guess you can’t blame him.
