The "Cole Anthony" Commitment

Cole Anthony is a five-star guard coming out of Oakhill academy located in Mouth of Wilson, VA. Anthony is a highly sought out player that will make his commitment decision on 4/23/19 at 8:50 am ET. As a possible one and done, Anothy main goal can be speculated to compete for an NCAA championship during his collegiate career (which may last 1 year). Out of his final 4 choices(Georgetown, Notre Dame, Oregon, UNC), one team stands out as an obvious contender.

Yes, you got it... UNC-Chapel Hill. Anthony has visited UNC twice and has a chance to join a strong program to make an immediate impact. UNC lost a lot this year from two of there star freshman Colby White and Nassir little to the veterans on the team Cam Johnson, Luke Maye, and Kenny Williams. The Tarheels are left with a void to fill at the guard positions. Currently, Seventh Woods is the front runner for the PG spot with Leaky Black being a utility player fitting in different spots including ball handling. Woods has had noticeable struggles controlling the pass of the game as he tends to turn the ball over a lot. Cole Anthony would be able to insert himself directly into the Tarheel offense and have a significant impact. UNC exited the NCAA tournament prematurely after an unreal performance from Auburn. Never the less, UNC is a contender to make an NCCA run every year and offer Anthony the best chance to accomplish his collegiate goals.
