AEW All Out Predictions
We’ve all waited for this event and it is finally here! All Out is taking place tonight and it should be a great show, regardless of the outcomes. This is the biggest opportunity that they will get before their television debut. Not only will we get to see the first AEW champion, but we will also get the first look at the AEW Women’s Championship. There has been a lot of anticipation surrounding this event and I’m ready to watch it all take place. Here are my predictions for All Out.
*Predicted winners are bolded
*Card may not be in right order
- 21-Woman Casino Battle Royale
Winner: Britt Baker
Final 4: Awesome Kong, Brandi Rhodes, Allie, Britt Baker
This one is pretty tough to find a clear-cut winner for. There are so many women that have the potential to compete for the Women’s Championship in this match. I think Britt Baker has the most potential at the moment to be the new Women’s Champion and winning this Battle Royale would solidify her as a contender. It appears that she is on the top of the list for competitors that AEW is willing to build the brand around and rightfully so. I think this will be a great showing and I think it will draw extra interest for the main portion of the show.
- Men’s Tag Team Match
Private Party vs. Angélico and Jack Evans
This should be another fun match for the Buy-In portion of the show. Private Party looked impressive at Fight for the Fallen in their match and I think they’ll get the same treatment in this match. Angélico and Evans have looked solid in their matches also and I think we will be in for an energetic boutt here.
- 6-Man Tag Team Match
Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy, and Marko Stunt vs. SoCal Uncensored
I feel like this is the perfect match to start the main portion of the program. I’m glad we are seeing the push of Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy in this show. They are extremely talented and I think they will be a big draw for the brand moving forward. It makes sense to me that the younger talent will beat the veteran talent here. There isn’t really anything at stake here other than pride, so SoCal losing here doesn’t hurt them.
- Women’s Singles Match
Hikaru Shida vs. Riho
This match is a total toss-up. Riho and Shida teamed together at Double or Nothing in a winning effort and Riho teamed with Britt Baker at Fight for the Fallen in a losing effort. This will be another energetic non-stop match. From the beginning, we knew that we would start to see Kenny Omega’s Japanese influence in the women’s division and it offers a unique style clash in the promotion. It’s difficult to say who the favorite is in this one, but I’m going with the younger talent here.
- Men’s Tag Team Match
Best Friends vs. The Dark Order
The Dark Order won what was supposed to be an opportunity for a first-round bye in the Tag Team title tournament, but it looks like we’re getting another go at this. I don’t know the story behind this, but I expect the same result. It’s clear that The Dark Order is getting a big push moving forward and having them win here would solidify that. They looked good at Fight for the Fallen, but I want to see them separate themselves from the pack here.
- Cracker Barrel Clash: Men’s Triple Threat Match
Darby Allin vs. Joey Janela vs. Jimmy Havoc
I have been leaning mostly with the younger talent getting over, but I think they decide to go with a veteran winner here. Cracker Barrel announced that they are going to be the official sponsor for this particular match. While it is peculiar, I think it is pretty cool that a company such as Cracker Barrel is getting behind this promotion and putting their name out there as a supporter of good pro wrestling. This match I feel has pretty big expectations to be honest, because we have seen all of these guys in match and they have all been very impressive. They all teamed together at Fight for the Fallen, but lost. It has a show stealing feel to it and I think each competitor will be pretty even throughout the match. I think Havoc goes over here.
- Men’s Singles Match
PAC vs. Kenny Omega
I absolutely hate that Jon Moxley is not in this match. Following Moxley and his transition from almost being an afterthought in WWE to one of the biggest stars in wrestling has made me a fan of his, but he will be out of action here due to a staph infection in his elbow. Don’t get me wrong, PAC is a more than formidable opponent for Omega in this one. In fact, it is a fantasy match of sorts. Now that PAC is in the match, I think Omega wins here.
- Escalera De La Muerte: AAA World Tag Team Championship
Lucha Brothers (C) vs. The Young Bucks
Escalera De La Muerte translates to death ladder, meaning that we are in for an absolute treat here. Lucha Bros and The Bucks have had one of the best rivalries that I have seen in a very long time and they will continue their feud tonight in a ladder match. I haven’t seen either of these personally in a Ladder match, but I can see why it is such a big deal. These two teams are made for ladder matches and this has a strong possibility to be match of the night. I think the Lucha Bros retain because the last time these two teams fought, The Bucks won, so I think they even the score here.
- Men’s Singles Match
Cody vs. Shawn Spears (with Tully Blanchard)
This match has been probably the most anticipated due how much build they have gotten since the controversial chair shot. Since hitting Cody with a chair, Spears has made a mark on the wrestling world and has become a big-time player in a short time. He also added Tully Blanchard to be in his corner in this match which I think is really cool. I don’t think Cody loses here just because of the circumstances surrounding everything, but Shawn Spears will get some meaningful shots in. I don’t really know who will be in Cody’s corner in this match, but it makes sense for MJF to do the honors since he isn’t in a match. It also could be someone like Arn Anderson or dare I say, CM Punk. But he could also bring his wife or brother to the ring. We’ll see. Should be a great match regardless of what happens.
- Men’s Singles Match: AEW World Championship
Adam Page vs. Chris Jericho
It seems pretty predictable that Jericho will win here, but odder things have happened in pro wrestling. Jericho is a guy that will be AEW’s foundation and making him the inaugural champion makes perfect sense. He can work with anyone and he can give younger talent, such Hangman Page, a push into credibility. If CM Punk returns, and that’s a big if, I think it will be during this match. Jericho vs. Punk on soil other than WWE is an opportunity for some serious viewership turnover. Punk returning would be pretty cool to see, but it isn’t necessary. This match should be great, but the goal isn’t establishing Jericho as champion, but the goal Is to make Hangman a star.
Yacs.
