Is Antonio Brown’s NFL Career Over?

Antonio Brown… What’s next? 

After departing Pittsburgh at the end of the 2018/19 season Wide Receiver Antonio Brown was traded to the Oakland Raiders. Talks around the league report a breakdown in relationship between the veteran QB Roethlisberger , and a rise in fame for break out receiver JuJu Smith Shulster. It seems Brown was not a fan of sharing the spotlight and requested to be traded. His request was granted, but it did not seems to be the destination that he had hoped for. During the 2019 offseason a lot of drama surrounded Brown from injuries to holding out to wear a specific helmet that was no longer allowed in the NFL. Long story short, after confronting the NFL over several attempts he lost the battle, but not before taking his issue to the front office and confronting Raiders GM Mike Mayok. 

 In a twist Brown was immediately cut from the team after asking a to be released on Instagram, but he was suddenly picked up by the New England Patriots. During his short time with the patriots Brown recorded 4 receptions, 56 yards, 1 touchdown , and a few assault charges. Breaking news reported this afternoon 9/20/19, that the team has cut ties with Brown.

 Brown has lost millions due to his antics this season and he made have burned all his bridges as well. He is a great receiver and  a amazing Athlete, but the guy has issues.
