Song of the Day: The Thing That Should Not Be

Howdy folks and happy Friday! My inspiration for today’s song came from me looking for a song to run to. Primus is my favorite band, so of course I was looking for some of their ”less-popular” stuff and in doing so, I came across a song on the Rhinoplasty album named, “The Thing That Should Not Be”. It turns out that Metallica actually released this song first on their Master of Puppets record in 1986. Apparently, “The Thing That Should Not Be” is based on a fictional character named Cthulhu, who is a octopus-like thing that lives in the ocean…I’m not really sure, mythology is not one of my strong-suits. If you are interested…just click the hyperlink to learn more about it. Of course everyone know that Metallica rocks out pretty hard and “The Thing That Should Not Be” does not disappoint.
