Happy Friday! We have 1 more week until Christmas…can you believe it?!? For a one of a kind year…I had to go with a one of a kind song. A friend of mine introduced this to me a couple years ago and Yacs brought it back to my attention…”Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. Now this is not just your normal rendition of “You better watch out…you better not cry.” this is a piece of art. Joseph Spence is the artist…1980 is the year…the album, Living on the Hallelujah Side is where you will find it. Born in the Bahamas…Joseph Spence is a folk/calypso artist who inspired bands like the Grateful Dead to become musicians. This man wasn’t taking that stogie out of his mouth for this one…and I don’t blame him…if I could perform like that, I wouldn’t. I also don’t know what he’s gonna tell your wife (1:40 of the video) but you better watch out, because Santa Claus is Coming to Town bruh! This one is for you Matt. Have a great weekend folks!
