Miles Bridges put on a show last night in the Rising Stars game and came away with the MVP. The Hornets forward scored 20 points and racked up 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Team USA was trailing at halftime by 10, but ended up defeating Team World by a score of 151-131. While most of the eyes were on New Orleans Pelicans forward, Zion Williamson, this was a big showcase for all of the NBA’s young talent. All three of the Hornets players came off the bench, but Miles Bridges was clearly the best performing of the bunch.

In the grand scheme of things, this was a meaningless game, but for Bridges, it could serve as a momentum boost heading into post All-Star Break action. He has really started to play well and he is averaging 20.3 PPG and 6.9 RPG in his last 7. He has receive a bigger role this year and we are seeing him turn into a big-time performer for the Hornets. The Hornets don’t play until next Thursday and as the season winds down, look for Bridges, PJ Washington, and Devonte’ Graham to be huge in the Hornets gameplan moving forward.
