Song of the Day: The Spirit of Radio

Happy Friday everyone! Today’s song of the day comes from our neighbors of the North…Rush! “The Spirit of Radio” was released in March of 1980, so we are approaching it’s 40th anniversary! I had heard that Primus is doing a Rush tribute tour here soon and I decided to go on a listening binge of Rush. They have quite the unique sound and their lead singer Geddy Lee is a pretty remarkable vocalist. In the US, this single peaked at #51…which sounds completely ridiculous…I guess great music back then was in abundance compared to today’s stuff. To get you prepped for the Leap Year…I hope you have fun air-drumming, air-guitaring and let Rush rock you into the once in every 4 year event!
