Song of the Day: Uranium Rock

Happy Friday the 13th!! For some reason…all I could think about when selecting song of the day was something off of a Fallout game. While listening through some of the cool live streams and playlists on YouTube…I came across a great rockabilly song by Warren Smith called, “Uranium Rock”. Warren Smith was born and raised in Mississippi and was a member of the Sun Record Company in Memphis, TN. One amazing feat he had was selling more first releases than Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins. I am a sucker for great rockabilly music, as I grew up listening to a local station in Hickory, NC called 63 Big Ways Radio. I could even pick up this AM radio station driving to UNC-Charlotte every morning, which is pretty wild if you think about it. Anyway…enjoy the simpler times today, don’t let the world’s happening get you down. Enjoy Warren Smith everyone!
