Song of the Day: The Weight
The Weight by The Band. Let’s just start off by saying that The Band is the worst name possible for a band. Way too much confusion can take place with a name like that. But The Band was a Canadian band hailing from Toronto. They got their start in 1968 and The Weight was actually released on the band’s debut album. I feel like this is a song most people have heard somewhere, whether it be a commercial or a movie, I’d say it’s showed up in plenty of both.
