Come on Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners, whoever the hell that is. While I’m sure that nobody has ever heard of Dexys Midnight Runners, Come On Eileen is a song that I feel everybody has heard at some point in their life. It’s definitely a song that has probably made a handful of appearances in some movies. The song was originally released in 1982 and actually reached number 1 on the charts in the US. While it might just be an 80’s pop song, it has one of the best sing along choruses, and that’s what’s definitely lead to this song’s popularity nearly 40 years later.
