Song of the Day: Knives of New Orleans

Happy Friday everyone! Let’s take it up to Granite Falls, North Carolina where you will find the hometown of our Song of the Day artist…Eric Church. While randomly listening to some of his stuff, I came across this song called “Knives of New Orleans”. It is off of Church”s Mr. Misunderstood album released in November of 2015. This seems like a song if you heard it live, it would give you goosebumps…it just sounds like real music. I know you are thinking…wow…what a great analysis, but I mean this songs speaks like a real story, Church puts you in the setting of the song. It seems that he did something he slightly regrets…his thoughts bring him to the reality that he truly regrets it and he feels the knives of that New Orleans town while running.
