Song of the Day: Dazed And Confused
Dazed And Confused by Led Zeppelin. Released on the band’s self-titled first album, Led Zeppelin, in 1969. Arguably the song that catapulted the group to stardom just months after the creation of the band. The song song was obviously a main stay in the band’s concert setlist, with it appearing in over 400 concerts. The live performances of the song could often go on for over 30 minutes and would often time feature Jimmy Page paying his guitar with a violin bow for the solo section. For such an iconic song that stands the test of time, this studio version was recorded in just 2 takes, only weeks after the band had initially formed.
