AEW Power Rankings: Week of January 13th 2020
Night 2 of New Years Smash was a success and there was a lot of great action. The in-ring action was great, but the non-wrestling segment were really solid as well. This feels like this is the beginning of Darby Allin’s rise into superstardom. Having Sting come out to aid him may not look great at the moment, but in the long run, Allin’s association with the Legend will be a great thing. I’m interested to see how that plays out, but The Inner Circle’s segment was hilarious and the Dynamite debut of The Waiting Room with Dr. Britt Baker was entertaining as well. It’s also good to see Moxley wanting to redeem himself for a shot at the AEW World Championship. With all of that being said, here are the rankings for last week’s action.
5: Pac
4: Miro
3: FTR
2: Kenny Omega, Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson
1: Darby Allin
