Song of the Day: Let it Rock

Other than the fact that this song by Kevin Rudolf and Lil Wayne was probably the most popular song of the late 2000’s, today’s song of the day has somewhat of an historical meaning. Today is the Royal Rumble PPV and this song was the 2009 Royal Rumble official song. It also goes a little deeper. The winner of the Royal Rumble match in 2009 was Randy Orton and the winner of the match prior to that one was Edge, where he won the WWE Championship. These two men happen to be kicking off the Men’s Royal Rumble match 12 years later. It is incredible that not only are Orton and Edge still performing, but putting on the best matches of their careers. It will be interesting to see what happens tonight, so check it all out on the WWE Network, starting at 7pm.
