Song of the Day: Long Black Veil

Today’s song of the day is from the legendary Johnny Cash, with “The Long Black Veil.” Though it was originally written by Danny Dill and performed by Lefty Frizzell in 1959, Cash covered the song nearly 20 years later, and of course has a very cover version. In fact the song is so popular, it has been covered by countless artists including The Band, Bruce Springsteen, and Jerry Garcia.
