Song of the Day: Bad to the Bone

I heard this song on the radio yesterday morning and again on a tv show last night and I thought it would be a good song of the day. Like everyone else, I’ve heard this song more times than I can count, but paid a little closer attention to the lyrics when it came on the radio yesterday morning. The opening verse really grabbed me because it’s hilarious how George Thorogood talks about being born and the nurses in the hospital already knew he was “bad to the bone.” It’s also one of those songs where you know exactly what song it is from the very instant it begins to play. It’s an iconic song and always will be, playing on tv shows, movies, commercials, etc. for the rest of time.
