Song of the Day: Mary, Did You Know?

Christmas Eve, only one more day until the big day. While everyone is prepping for a Christmas celebration and rushing around in all the craziness of this world…just remember a couple thousand years ago, a baby was born that would change the world forever. While the setting may have been lowly…being in a manger…in a barn…the times were probably not all that different than what we live in today. The Roman Empire ruled the world and sure…technology and the exactness of our lives may have been different, but I am sure the hectic nature was still there. This song, “Mary, Did You Know?”, written and sung by Mark Lowry, does a great job of depicting what many would ask Mary during that time. Of course, if you read the Bible you know that Mary knew all of this, but to understand the magnitude is quite extraordinary. Many people have celebrated Christmas since Jesus’ birth and as we celebrate another one…remember why we celebrate and spread the joy with your family and friends and try not to get caught up in all of life’s troubles and stressors.
