Song of the Day: Rebel Rouser

Today’s Song of the Day travels back to 1958. Duane Eddy released this instrumental piece and it reached number 6 on the billboard charts. I haven’t heard this song in a while until this week and since then, I have played it a handful of times. This song feels right at home in a classic western movie, but it also has that 50’s rockabilly feel to it as well. If this tune sounds familiar to you but you can’t quite place where you have heard it, it was in the movie Forrest Gump. Enjoy “Rebel Rouser” and have a great Sunday.
