Song of the Day: Cocaine

It is Super Bowl Sunday and I wanted to give you a classic song to kick off your day. We’ve featured Eric Clapton a little bit on Song of the Day, but never this song until now. I heard it on the radio the other day and I realized something. I’ve said in the past that King of the Hill is my favorite show, but I never realized that Bobby changed the lyrics of this song to fit a comedy skit that he was working on. I’ve seen the episode countless times, but never realized it was this song. This song was released in 1977 as a B-Side to Clapton’s hit, “Lay Down Sally”, which is probably my favorite song of his.
