Song of the Day: New Day

I watched the movie Life over the weekend and when I heard this song I thought it would be a good one for Song of the Day. I’ve seen the movie Life many, many times, but it never gets old and really is one of the most underrated comedies of all time. If you haven’t seen it, definitely check it out. Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy are spectacular in this movie, as well as some great supporting characters from guys like Bernie Mac and Anthony Anderson. If you’ve seen the movie, then you may remember hearing this song. It takes place when the years are being fast-forwarded and so many American historical events are being shown having taken place. I always thought this was a really cool and moving scene. The song is from Wyclef Jean and features Bono, and was released in 1999 for the charity NetAid. I hope everyone has a spectacular day!
