Song of the Day: Hey, Hey, What Can I Do?
Hey, Hey, What Can I Do by Led Zeppelin. Maybe one of the most underrated Zeppelin songs out there. While I feel like it does get some decent radio time, Hey, Hey, What Can I Do never seems to get mentioned when people talk about great Led Zeppelin songs. And that’s a shame because it’s an absolutely fantastic song. The biggest reason that probably contributes to this song being under the radar is the fact that it never appeared on a studio album. It was only song that band released prior to 1980(When Zeppelin ended after Bonzo’s death) that didn’t appear on an album. The song was released on the B-side of the Immigrant Song single. So the song was apparently written around the time of Zeppelin lll but somehow didn’t make the cut. I gotta say they missed one there.
