Top 10 Charlotte Knights Promotions 2021
Hello Charlotte Knights fans! If you are like me, you are ready for the return of minor league baseball. It’s been a long time since we’ve had it, with last year’s absence and the delay of this season. But in four short days it will finally be back in Charlotte as the Knights kick off a homestand series against the Gwinnett Stripers.
Two years ago I did a top 10 Charlotte Knights promotions article and really enjoyed discovering all the cool giveaways and people coming to the Knights stadium. So I wanted to do it again this year. Unfortunately, with the virus still lingering around there won’t be any celebrities coming to Truist Field this year as part of a promotion. Every year several big and interesting names come to Charlotte to meet and greet with fans and sign autographs, which made putting together a Top 10 list much more challenging and fun.
So with that being said, this year’s list is much more plain and simple. There wasn’t much to choose from to narrow things down to ten promotions. Nevertheless, here are the Top 10 Charlotte Knights promotions this upcoming season:
10. Baseball Bag
May 7th: I’m not sure exactly what they mean by baseball bag, but my guess is it’s a duffle bag with the Charlotte Knights logo on it. I received one years ago from a Hickory Crawdads promotion and still have it. Definitely comes in handy.
9. Sunglasses
May 16th: Yes I know they will be a very cheap pair of sunglasses, but who doesn’t wear cheap sunglasses. Perfect for a day at the lake or the beach and you can rep the Knights as well.
8. Youth Cap
August 29th: This one would shoot up the list if they were giving away caps for all sizes. But oh well, the kids will certainly enjoy these.
7. Water Bottle
June 6th: Pretty much everyone uses water bottles on a daily basis. So, this one not only can be very useful, but yours will be cooler than everyone else’s because yours will say “Charlotte Knights” on it.
6. Youth Jersey
July 31st: Like the youth cap, this one would be near, or at, the top of the list if it was for all sizes. But going to the ballpark is always magical when you’re a kid and getting a jersey on top of that would be awesome, plain and simple.
5. LED Wristband
July 4th: On a night when the country will light up the sky, you can shine some light of your own from your wrist! I’m not sure if this one deserves to be a few spots higher or lower (or if it is just right) because I’ve never heard of or seen an LED wristband. It sounds interesting that’s for sure.
4. Playing Cards
September 19th: This is a pretty cool little collectors item to have, especially on poker night. I don’t know what the back of the cards will look like, but hopefully they go all out and put a sweet picture of the ballpark on it.
3. Baseball
August 22nd: Plain and simple, it’s a baseball. But that baseball would be a nice addition to any Knights fan’s (or baseball fan’s) shelf. Hopefully it has some really cool artwork on it.
2. Rally Towel
July 18th: This one could easily be #1. Rally towels always are a big hit with fans at the games, then taken home to keep as some sort of a collectors item. Many people put them on the wall somewhere in their house as sports decoration. I’ve got a Charlotte Checkers and Charlotte Hornets one for that purpose right now.
1. Luis Robert Bobblehead
June 19th: You just cannot go wrong with a bobblehead. Of anyone. And this one is of Luis Robert, who recently played with the Knights, but has gone on to begin his MLB career with the White Sox. And from the looks of things already, he will be a big name in the game for a long time.
That’s it! If you are interested in these promotions then make sure to go ahead and clear your schedule. And remember that in addition to these giveaways, you’ll also be able to enjoy Wine Wednesdays, Thirsty Thursdays, and Friday Night Fireworks throughout the entire season. Let’s get back in the seats and support the home team this year. Go Knights!
