Song of the Day: If You've Got the Money (I've Got the Time)

Today’s Song of the Day travels back to 1976 and it turns out that it was Willie Nelson’s 2nd #1 Hit of his career. It reached number one, but it wasn’t the first time that this song reached the top spot. Back in 1950, Lefty Frizzell came out with the song and it turned out to be his first charted number one of his career. Willie Nelson celebrated his 88th birthday this week and I wanted to honor him in some way. He and several other artists changed the landscape of country music back in the 70s and he is a very important figure in the genre. I hope you all have a great day.
