Song of the Day: We Are The Champions

It may have been on a Saturday but we’ll be celebrating this one all summer. I’m a huge Chelsea FC fan so of course I had to post We Are The Champions by Queen after Chelsea triumphed over Manchester City in the Champions League final and were crowned Champions of Europe. For the next year, Chelsea FC and all of the fans get to lay claim to being the best team in the world and there’s not a single thing the opposition can do or say about it. Thomas Tuchel took over this club in January in almost an impossible circumstance and led this team past Atletico Madrid(Champions of Spain), Porto, Real Madrid(13 time champs which is nearly double the next in line) and Manchester City(Champs of England), and dominated every match-up along the way. An absolutely extraordinary accomplishment and against all the odds. Go ahead and build the statue for Tuchel now. Also couldn’t be more happy that guys like Thiago Silva, Olivier Giroud and Cesar Azpilicueta, guys who had incredible careers but never won the Champions League finally go their hands on the coveted trophy.
