Song of the Day: Why Georgia

Today’s song comes from the soft rock legend John Mayer. A friend of mine mentioned that he was starting a band and for some reason, this song came to my head. Do you ever have those moments that hit you with an idea of a song. Its pretty amazing to think that a song came to my head…especially one I have not heard in a VERY long time, probably 10+ years or so. Anyway, “Why Georgia” was released by Mayer in 2003 and reached #8 on the Billboard Hot 40. I cannot say that I know much about John Mayer, so I still don’t know why this hit me. I wasn’t even sitting in I-85 traffic wondering…Why Georgia…Why. I hope you enjoy and have a Happy July 4th weekend!
