Welcome to a brand new week! Today’s song of the day is a funky groove from Dr. John called “Right Place Wrong Time.” It was released in 1973 and peaked at the #9 position on the Billboard Hot 100 that year. It is featured in several tv shows and movies, including the best movie of all time, Dazed and Confused in one of the scenes at the moontower. Ever since I first saw the movie, I dug this song.
