Song of the Day: Take It Easy

Today’s song of the day is a nod to Labor Day. We’ve worked hard all year long, let’s take our day given to us to just “Take It Easy.” The Eagles released this hit in 1972 and it would peak at #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. An interesting fact that I didn’t know about this song is it was the opening track on the band’s debut album, and was the band’s very first single out of all their monster hit songs throughout the years. It definitely held up well because it is still known as one of The Eagles’ most memorable songs. I hope everyone enjoys their Labor Day.
