Song of the Day: Melissa

Start your Monday off with a smooth, sweet tune that is “Melissa,” by the legendary Allman Brothers Band. The Allman Brothers are among my favorites, with so much good music made from them. In many of their songs, you can easily hear the soulful inspiration, such as in this one, which I absolutely love. “Melissa” was released in 1972 on their famous album Eat a Peach, but was interestingly wrote five years earlier by Gregg Allman, before the band was even founded. I hope everyone has a great start to their new week!
