Song of the Day: Eternal Consumption Engine
Happy Friday folks! Today, I am feeling a little Primus for your October 21st morning. The song, “Eternal Consumption Engine” is about the American model of buying things profusely just to buy them and not having a purpose. It is also about how none of the products we buy are created in our own country. The song is off of their Green Naugahyde album released in 2011. Larry LaLonde or “Ler” as he is known, wrote this one and I am a fan. The beat to it is pretty funky. It seemed pretty fitting to play this song, especially with the way our society is today…it is only a matter of time before this lifestyle breaks, so enjoy some good music before it happens!
