Song of the Day: Christmas In Dixie

Christmas In Dixie by Alabama. Released 40 yrs ago in December of 1982. Definitely a song that frequents the Christmas radio stations during the holiday season but I have to wonder if that is the case all over the country. Is this a song that I’m very familiar with due to being from North Carolina, or is this actually a popular song outside of the south? I’m leaning towards this being a regional song.
