Song of the Day: A Thing Called Love

Happy Sunday and Happy Valentine’s Eve. Today, I am going to feature a Jerry Reed written and recorded song. He recorded this song back in 1968, but even though he was the writer and original recording artist, his version wasn’t the most famous. Johnny Cash’s release of the song four years later reached number two in the US and filled the top spot in Ireland. Reed was most known for his light-hearted, comedic songs, but this was an exception. It is such as simple, but powerful song. Jimmy Dean and Elvis Presley also recorded great versions of the song as well. I hope you enjoy it.
