Song of the Day: Walk on Boy

Happy Friday folks! Today I am featuring bluegrass artist Sierra Hull. She has a plethora of videos playing the mandolin and multiple instruments like a mandocello, which I’ll have to investigate more! Anyways, she can play anything it seems and I caught this cover of a Doc Watson called “Walk on Boy”. She did this in honor of MerleFest weekend in 2020, since it was cancelled. If you are a fan of bluegrass, you probably already know her, as she has been on Rounder Records label since 2004. Enjoy some crisp notes and smooth playing with this one and enjoy the weekend!
