Song of the Day: Superstition
You know what day it is…Friday the 13th and The Sports Chief is starting your morning routine off with “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder as the theme today. Stevie Wonder released this song in 1972 and of course, it hit #1 on the Billboard charts. It has that amazing funk sound that everyone can recognize. Stevie was born on May 13th, 1950…not on a Friday (Saturday) but his birthday did fall on it every once in awhile of course. Another fun fact about this song is that Trevor Lawrence played the tenor saxophone on this one…no not the Jags QB that is making his 1st playoff start tomorrow, but being a Jaguars fan myself, that let me know that this song was the one to go with. Enjoy superstition and have a great weekend folks!
