Song of the Day: Seventh Son

I feel like I have featured her more in the past, but I have only done it one time. Well, this will be the second time. The featured artist today is Bobbie Gentry and she is one of my favorites. She hasn’t been in the spotlight for 40 years or so, but she put out some fantastic music in the 60s and early 70s. This particular song and version that I am putting up today is a demo, because I prefer it to the final, produced version. The original song was written by Willie Mabon in 1955. It is an old Rhythm and Blues song and Bobbie Gentry does a fantastic job with it. I hope you enjoy it.
